And so the story goes... “Ganache” was originally invented in the 1850's in France,  and today is used to describe the chocolate filling inside a pastry or that gorgeous glaze on a cake. Legend says it comes from a young student error pouring hot cream onto chocolate bits. His chef called him a ganache (meaning moron in old french) but the result turned out te be epic, and the term stayed! 😍 Here's to celebrating those happy little accidents!
